Ava, Missouri, April 25, 2025 /Snowbird Banjo Company LLC./ –Snowbird Banjo Company is thrilled to announce plans to re-establish banjo manufacturing in Ava, Missouri, marking an exciting new chapter for the brand and its commitment to producing handcrafted, heirloom-quality instruments.
Founded in 2018, Snowbird Banjo Company operated initially from a small house/shop until 2023, when a need for more space forced a shutdown amid evolving family living situations. However, in the winter of 2024, a renewed vision emerged, prompting the decision to re-launch with refined processes and enhancements, all while maintaining the core values that define Snowbird’s craftsmanship
Jeremy Myers, the founder and CEO, has dedicated the past year to preparing for this relaunch, engaging in business startup courses, securing small business loans, and meticulously planning the construction of a new 3,600 square foot manufacturing facility, set to rise in Ava, Missouri. The new facility will also house the upcoming “Myers Music Center,” a music store set to launch in the future.
With guidance from the Ozarks Small Business Incubator and the Springfield Missouri Small Business Development Center, Snowbird Banjo Company has developed a new comprehensive business plan with a distinctly different model of operation than before in order to provide Handcrafted, American-Made, Heirloom Quality instruments.
On May 8th, Jeremy Myers will present the company’s innovative business strategy during the “Pitch Competition” at the OzSBI PitchFest event in West Plains, Missouri, spotlighting the exciting advancements and future direction for Snowbird Banjo Company.
Plans for groundbreaking on new facility are estimated to be in late May 2025 and reopen are estimated to be early spring 2026. Additionally, Snowbird Banjo Company will soon initiate crowdfunding efforts to help facilitate the down payment for the SBA loan.
